Trees Grow On Trees Grana Doubletree Unique

Between Grana and casorzo in Piemonte, Italy, a very unique tree grows. Known as the "Double Tree casorzo" or Bialbero de casorzo in Italy. This is a mulberry tree where the cherry trees growing on it. Cherry tree grows high above the mulberry tree that stood underneath. Strange tree is also known as Grana Double Tree.
No one knows for sure how this happened; maybe some birds dropping seeds on top of the mulberry tree which then grow roots through the hollow stems of host trees to reach the ground. Although trees grow parasites or epiphytes on other tree is not unusual, but they usually do not reach the size and age as seen in this particular instance, because there is not enough space available humus and where they grow. Large trees that grow epiphytes like Bialbero de casorzo is rare.
Epiphytic plants are plants that ride on other plants as a place of life. His name was formed from the Greek: epidemics, surface or lid, and python, plants or trees.

In contrast to the parasites, epiphytes can be completely independent, separated from the land as a buffer and a provider of nutrients for life, as well as from other plant nutrients are provided. Water is obtained from rain, dew, or water vapor. Mineral nutrient obtained from dust or decomposition of the stem and the remains of other plant parts are biodegradable. Although not "steal" nutrients from the host plant, epiphytes can be a competitor to the availability of light. Epiphytic roots sometimes penetrate the cover and carrying tree trunks so upset the balance of the physiology of host plants.
Examples of epiphytes is a popular variety of orchids, pineapple-nanasan (bromeliads), and ferns.
